The News of Castro

Think about how you are the reporters for Castro Middle School. You will be writing, taking pictures and filming the news of Castro.

In these early days of school there are many events to write about: first day of school, new classes, new friends, new principals, new teachers, old teachers, old friends and more!

1. Go to www.azcentral.com.

• Find an article that interests you and read it.

2. Write a story about Castro. We will post these stories onto our online "newspaper" The Castro Cougar Courier.

• Remember to include who, what, when, where, why and how.

• Your story should be about three paragraphs. In the journalism world, a paragraph is about 3-4 sentences. You should have a beginning, middle and end.
