Yearbook Ideas

Open a WORD document and brainstorm student life coverage.

One of the main purposes of a yearbook is to look back on your school days 20 years from now and see what you did and what was going on.

Look at these brainstorming questions and answer 5 of them. When brainstorming, you don't need to have full sentences or a certain number of paragraphs. Just get your ideas written down.

1. What do you notice about the following?
  • Clothing
  • Accessories
  • Technology
  • Food
  • Families
  • Hobbies
2. What talents do people have and display at school?

3. What's popular? What's not popular?

4. What are the most commonly violated school rules?

5. What happens before school? After school?

6. What happens during the day?
  • Passing periods
  • Library
  • Outside
  • Lunch
  • Classes
  • Restrooms
7. Outside of school, what do you do?
  • Popular places to go
  • Places to hangout
  • Athletics outside of school
  • Where to be seen
  • Where not to be seen
  • Music
